Fedorov's statement: "In the near future, we plan to launch a new service that will be beneficial for many, especially veterans. The "Firearm Permit" service is currently in beta testing and will soon be available to everyone."
Details: According to the minister, this will be a comprehensive service allowing applications for storage, carrying, and acquiring firearms. Users will be able to receive the necessary documents within the app to present as needed.
"There will be no need to carry various paper documents. Just the QR code in the Diia app, as usual," he emphasized, noting that the service will be available to all Ukrainians.
It is worth mentioning that after the launch of the Unified Firearm Register in 2023, it was already reported that obtaining a firearm permit through the Diia app was possible.
The "Firearm Permit Application" page has been functioning in the Diia app since 2023 and remains active.
