Samsung has announced that its branded applications are now accessible to all Windows users, regardless of whether they own Galaxy laptops. This was reported by Sammobile.
Previously, applications such as Samsung Notes, Samsung Gallery, and Samsung Account were only available on Samsung laptops, but they can now be downloaded on any computer running Windows 10 or 11. Users can find these applications in the Microsoft Store.
However, some applications require authentication via a Samsung Account, and the Notes app may warn that it is optimized for Galaxy Book, which might cause minor issues on other devices.
Currently, the Microsoft Store offers applications like Gallery, Cloud, Screen Recorder, Galaxy Buds, Bixby, Samsung Studio, Phone, and more. However, the Samsung Find app is still only available on Galaxy laptops.
This move by Samsung is a significant step towards expanding the Galaxy ecosystem for all Windows users, offering branded applications to a wider audience.
