The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced the launch of monetization for the "Diia" platform, with plans to create a separate state company that could potentially go public in the future.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the DOU Day conference.
According to him, the monetization process for "Diia" began in May 2025, and the platform could start generating its first profits as early as June. One of the new monetization tools is document sharing.
"Every month, tens of thousands of accounts are opened through "Diia". For instance, on one day alone, 22,000 accounts were opened with monobank. Financial institutions are willing to pay for such services," Fedorov noted.
He also emphasized that the ministry is actively working on separating "Diia" into a standalone state company that could attract businesses to the platform and potentially sell its shares.
"We plan to gradually separate "Diia" into a distinct state company. In the future, it is possible that shares of this company will be offered for sale, indicating preparations for an IPO. "Diia" will become a marketplace where businesses can launch their own services and utilize our infrastructure," the minister added.
