The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KMIS) conducted a nationwide survey that included questions about the use of artificial intelligence. A total of 1029 respondents aged 18 and older participated, with 64% stating they have never used AI.
9% of respondents have attempted to use artificial intelligence but found no practical application in their daily lives. Only 26% of those surveyed have practical experience, of which 9% use it a few times a month or less, 12% use it daily or almost daily, and 5% use it a few times a month.
Young people aged 18 to 29 are the most frequent users of artificial intelligence, making up 54%. Only 4% of respondents aged 60 and older utilize AI.
Urban residents actively use AI more than rural inhabitants. Among the urban population, the level of regular use is 21%, while among the rural population, it is only 9%.
There is also a significant difference in the economic status of those who use artificial intelligence. The better the financial situation of respondents, the more they tend to adopt new technologies.
Regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the world and people, nearly half of the respondents believe that these technologies carry many risks and may lead to serious problems. 39% think AI contributes to progress and brings humanity closer to a better future. 16% were undecided.
