A children's football tournament will take place in Kyiv in memory of soldier Pavlo Petrychenko from the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade.
This information was shared by the soldier's sister, Marina, on her Instagram.
The annual event is scheduled for April 26 at 4 Vasyl Ivanis Street in the capital of Ukraine. Proceeds will be directed towards purchasing drones for military support.
The spectator contribution will be 250 hryvnias, while participants will contribute 1000 hryvnias.

- 09:30 – 12:00 Morning session — matches of children's teams
- Awards for young footballers
- 12:30 Memorial opening ceremony
- 13:00 – 19:00 Afternoon session — matches of adult teams
- Awards for the winners
Pavlo Petrychenko was born in Kyiv and was a participant in EuroMaidan. Later, he worked at the charity fund of Serhiy Prytula. Since 2022, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in aerial reconnaissance. He lost his life on April 15, 2024, while performing a combat mission in Avdiivka.
It is worth noting that in early March, a charity auction took place featuring stars of Ukrainian sports, raising funds to support the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov".
