Ukrainian basketball player Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk has reached a new milestone by scoring a record number of points in an NBA game.

This was reported by the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.

The forward for the Utah Jazz played 28 minutes against Oklahoma, during which he scored 27 points (5/6 two-pointers, 5/14 three-pointers, 2/3 free throws). He also contributed with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 turnovers.

This game marked Mykhailiuk's highest scoring performance in his NBA career, having previously been stuck at 26 points, which he last achieved while playing for Boston last season.

Unfortunately, despite Mykhailiuk's impressive performance, Utah could not avoid a loss to Oklahoma, ending the game with a score of 111:145.

Earlier, it was reported that Minnesota set a franchise record in their game against Memphis.
