Ukrainian snooker player Julian Boyko had a successful start in the qualification for the world championship, securing a stunning victory against Andrew Padgett.

The match concluded with a score of 10:2, and Julian showcased his skills by executing two century breaks (129 and 128 points).

In the next round, Boyko will face Englishman Louis Heathcote. The qualification will take place from April 7 to 16 at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. To reach the last 16 of the world championship, Julian needs to overcome three more opponents.

In another qualification match, Anton Kazakov lost to Jimmy White in a 19-frame contest with a score of 10:9. The Ukrainian squandered a 7:3 lead and lost the final frame.

It’s worth noting that just before this, Julian Boyko won gold at the U-21 European Championship.
