At the international event "Open Championship of Lithuania" held in Vilnius, Ukrainian swimmers achieved remarkable success, winning 15 medals.

This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The gold medals were awarded to: Vadym Naumenko (400 m individual medley), Vadym Naumenko (200 m individual medley), Nika Sharafutdinova (200 m backstroke), Denys Kesil (200 m butterfly), Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, Maksym Ovchynnikov, Vadym Naumenko (combined relay 4 x 100 m), Hryhoriy Lukashev, Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, Vadym Naumenko (4 x 200 m freestyle relay).

Silver medals were claimed by: Maksym Ovchynnikov (100 m breaststroke), Maksym Ovchynnikov (50 m breaststroke), Anton Denysenko (400 m individual medley), Anton Denysenko (200 m individual medley), Hryhoriy Lukashev (200 m butterfly), Denys Kesil (100 m butterfly).

Bronze medals were won by: Denys Kesil (50 m butterfly), Nika Sharafutdinova (50 m backstroke), Hryhoriy Lukashev (400 m freestyle).

It is also important to note that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that 591 Ukrainian athletes have lost their lives during the war.
