Olena Hovorova, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, congratulated Kyiv resident Yegor Yakushenko on his remarkable achievement at the U-20 European Wrestling Championship. The competition took place in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Yegor Yakushenko is a student of the esteemed Ukrainian coach Mykola Serhiyovych Yelarinov, who trains at the sports club ‘Olimpiec’ in the Desnyansky Center for Physical Health ‘Sport for All’.

“Yegor showcased an exceptional level of skill, determination, and serves as an inspiration for many! Behind every medal lie years of training and the dedication of the coach. I congratulate him on this well-deserved victory that elevates our country's reputation!” emphasized Olena Hovorova.

She also added that every mention of Ukraine abroad is extremely significant. Therefore, such victories not only glorify our nation but also remind the world of the armed aggression by the Russian Federation and the struggle of the Ukrainian people.
