Ukrainian athlete Pavlo Korostylov has won a bronze medal in the small-bore pistol shooting event at the World Championship held in Egypt.
In his specialty – shooting with the standard pistol at 25 m, he achieved a score of 573 – 17x. This marks his 11th medal at world competitions.
Previously, Oleg Omelchuk, Pavlo Korostylov, and Viktor Bankin secured bronze in the free pistol event at 50 m.
Moreover, Maksym Horodynets also earned a bronze in the 25 m rapid-fire pistol competition.
The World Championship will continue until November 18, with Ukraine represented by 13 athletes across 15 events. At the previous World Championship, the Ukrainian team secured three gold medals: Korostylov and Kulish in individual events, and Maksym Horodynets and Yuliia Korostylova in team events.
