The Ukrainian para swimming team achieved remarkable success at the world championship held in Singapore, securing a total of 49 medals (16 gold, 16 silver, 17 bronze), the highest number among all competing nations. However, in terms of gold medals, the Ukrainians were outperformed by teams from Italy, the USA, and China, finishing in fourth place overall.

Andriy Trusov became a four-time world champion, winning all his races and setting two new records: 100m freestyle in class S7 with a time of 59.90 seconds and 50m freestyle in class S7 with a time of 26.72 seconds. In total, Ukrainian athletes set four world records and three European records during the competitions in Singapore.
