The men's goalball team of Ukraine emerged victorious at the international tournament held in Vilnius (Lithuania).

The German team secured the second place, while Lithuania-1 took the third spot.

During the group matches, played in a round-robin format, the Ukrainians only lost once to Great Britain with a score of 2:7, followed by four consecutive wins against: Lithuania-1 — 10:3; Finland — 13:3; Lithuania-2 — 14:9; Germany — 13:6.

In the semifinals against Lithuania-2, the Ukrainian team won with a score of 12:2.

The final match against Germany concluded with a score of 5:4 in favor of Ukraine. The decisive fifth goal was scored by Vasyl Oliinyk with just 8 seconds remaining in the game.

The champions of the international tournament included: Vasyl Oliinyk, Anton Strelchyk, Yevhenii Tsyhanenko, Rodion Zhihalin, Fedor Sydorenko, and Oleksandr Toporkov.

Anton Strelchyk received the special award for the tournament—best defender.
