On Monday, August 25, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) updated its rankings.

Elina Svitolina, the top-ranked player from Ukraine, dropped two spots and is now in 15th place. The top ten remained unchanged since they did not compete last week, with Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka still leading the rankings.

Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska each climbed one position, now sitting at 28th and 31st places respectively.

Yuliya Starodubtseva fell two spots and is currently ranked 68th.

Despite being sidelined by an injury for over two months, Angelina Kalinina moved up to 135th position.

Both Daria Snigur (171st) and Anastasia Soboleva (270th) made slight improvements in their rankings.

Meanwhile, Oleksandra Oliynykova fell out of the top 200, currently ranking 202nd.
