At the World Games, Ukrainians Andriy Kucherenko and Vladislav Rudnev triumphed in the sambo finals against Russian opponents.

Andriy Kucherenko competed in the 71 kg category against Roland Zinnatov. The match started with a knockdown for the opponent, and Kucherenko quickly took the lead with a score of 6:0. Our athlete effectively defended himself and did not allow his opponent to score. Zinnatov managed to earn only one point.

As a result, Kucherenko's victory earned him a gold medal. After his triumph, he celebrated with a traditional hopak dance.

Vladislav Rudnev also supported Kucherenko, defeating another Russian athlete, Abgar Ovanesyan, in the 79 kg category.

The final score was 3:0 in favor of Rudnev, and once again, the victorious hopak was performed after the results were announced.

Soon, Andriy Davidenko will also compete for gold, facing a Russian opponent.
