The Ukrainian men's volleyball team has slipped to 7th place in the overall standings after 11 rounds of the League of Nations.
This drop occurred following an unexpected defeat by Serbia.
With six wins to their name, the "blue and yellows" continue their fight for a spot in the final eight. They have one remaining match against Canada scheduled for July 20, and even a victory may not guarantee their advancement.
Currently, there are 3 spots available for playoff qualification, which will be contested by 6 teams, including Ukraine: Japan, Cuba, Slovenia, the USA, Iran, and Bulgaria.
5. Japan – 7 wins (4 losses), 20 points
6. Cuba – 6 wins (5 losses), 19 points
