Famous Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshchuk is back in the spotlight as he prepares to compete in the Diamond League event in Monaco on July 11.

This was announced by the event's press service, which released the list of participants for the men's high jump competition.

Unfortunately, Doroshchuk had to miss the recent European Team Championship-2025 in Madrid due to a knee injury, with Dmitry Nikitin taking his place.

So far this summer season, Doroshchuk has only participated in one event: he finished second at the Diamond League stage in Rome with a result of 2.30 meters.

In March, he competed at the indoor World Championship, finishing fifth with a height of 2.28 meters. Before that, Oleg won the gold medal at the European Championship held in Apeldoorn, achieving a height of 2.34 meters.
