The coach of the brewers has now moved to lead the Chernivtsi team «Bukovina»

Following the conclusion of the 2024/2025 football season in the Ukrainian Premier League, Serhiy Shyshchenko, the head coach of Kyiv's «Obolon», has departed from his position. This was announced by the club's press service. The contract between «Obolon» and the coach was terminated by mutual consent.

Shyshchenko took over the team in September 2024, when it was at the bottom of the standings. By the end of the season, «Obolon» finished eleventh, successfully avoiding relegation to the First League as well as transitional matches.

Under Shyshchenko's leadership, the team played 25 matches, achieving eight victories, seven draws, and ten losses.

Now, the coach will continue his career at «Bukovina», while his assistant Oleksandr Antonenko will temporarily take over the head coach duties at «Obolon».
