Yaroslava Mahuchikh has won silver for the second consecutive time at the Diamond League stage held in Paris.
Two Ukrainian athletes, Yuliya Levchenko and Yaroslava Mahuchikh, participated in this event.
Among the main competitors were Australian athletes Nicola Olyslaegers and Eleanor Patterson, who recently won medals at the indoor world championship.
Yuliya Levchenko was the first Ukrainian to compete in the high jump sector. She cleared 1.83 m on her first attempt but failed at 1.88 m.
Levchenko decided to skip straight to 1.91 m but was unsuccessful in both attempts, finishing the event in 11th place.
In contrast, Mahuchikh confidently cleared 1.91 m.
However, she faced challenges at 1.94 m, failing her first two attempts but successfully cleared 1.97 m on her last try. The Australian competitors also cleared this height.
Only Mahuchikh and the Australians reached the 2-meter mark. Neither Patterson nor Mahuchikh cleared this height, while Olyslaegers successfully made her second attempt.
Thus, Olyslaegers finished first, Mahuchikh again secured second place, and Patterson came in third.
