The match took place in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and ended with a score of 3:0.

The first set was won by Ukraine due to several successful streaks at the beginning of the game, giving them enough advantage to defeat their opponent (25:22).

The second set was tightly contested, with neither team sure of victory until the score reached 20:18, when Ukraine seized control and won 25:20.
