Oleksandr Usyk, the world champion in the heavyweight division under WBC, WBA, and WBO, has retained his top position in the P4P rankings by The Ring. The update was published on May 7 on the official website of the magazine.

Usyk's last fight took place in late December 2024, where he defeated Tyson Fury for the second time by unanimous decision, successfully defending his three heavyweight championship titles.

Compared to the P4P rankings from March 19, Usyk has maintained his lead. He first claimed the top position in this ranking on May 18, 2024, after defeating Fury and becoming the undisputed world champion.

There were four changes in the top 10 of the P4P rankings: Saul Alvarez lost a position despite regaining the 'absolute' status in a fight against Cuban William Scull. Japanese fighters Yunto Nakatani and Kenshiro Terai climbed one spot, while new WBC light heavyweight champion David Benavidez also entered the top 10.
