Additionally, 1.26 million people (12%) receive pensions exceeding 10,000 UAH, with an average of 15,379.97 UAH.
About 27% of retirees continue to work, averaging a pension of 6,302.76 UAH.
The highest pension payments are traditionally found in Kyiv, at 8,017.65 UAH, which is more than a third higher than the national average. The lowest payments are recorded in the Ternopil region at 4,484.69 UAH, which is 23% less than the average value.
Overall, there are 10.34 million retirees in Ukraine.
