On October 29, a ceremonial presentation and cancellation of the special postal stamp titled «Equestrian Sports of Ukraine» took place at Holompotstamp, highlighting the growth of equestrian sports in the country. This stamp is a charitable release initiated by the All-Ukrainian Federation of Equestrian Sports in collaboration with Ukrposhta.
The event was graced by the presence of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Olympic champion Vadym Hutsait, who expressed gratitude to the All-Ukrainian Federation of Equestrian Sports for their tireless efforts and dedication. He noted that initiatives like this charitable stamp are vital contributions to supporting Ukrainian athletes, promoting sports, and preserving national traditions during these challenging times.
Among the honored guests participating in the stamp cancellation were Federation President Andriy Milovanov, General Director of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilianskyi, champion and silver medalist of the Olympics in equestrian sports Yurii Kovshov, sports master Anna Dyachenko, head of the distance riding committee Lesia Hordienko, and director of the Kyiv branch of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Equestrian Sports Serhii Doroshenko. All of them participated in this ceremonial stamp cancellation.
The ceremony was a vivid confirmation of the synergy between government bodies, sports organizations, and public figures working together to support and revive equestrian sports in Ukraine.
