President Volodymyr Zelensky honored the courage of soldiers by awarding them the "Gold Star" and presenting awards to the families of Heroes of Ukraine who were posthumously recognized.  He shared this news on Facebook along with relevant images.
According to Zelensky, "it is because of such individuals, and the fact that millions of our people have truly stood up to defend the country, that Ukraine has been able to preserve and protect its independence".
"For four years now, our nation has faced large-scale and terrorist aggression from Russia. We are doing everything we can to stop Russia", - the president emphasized.
Zelensky also remarked: "I am proud of each of our heroes. I thank our Ukrainian families for raising such heroes. Thank you for protecting Ukraine".
