A charity screening of the Ukrainian film «Toloka» was held in the Darniytskyi district of Kyiv. The event was organized by the «Revival of the Strong» foundation with the support of the local administration. This was announced by the head of the RDA, Oleksandr Kovtunov.
The film «Toloka» is based on Taras Shevchenko's work «At that Kateryna's house on the bridge…» and covers over 400 years of Ukrainian history, highlighting 14 significant events for the nation.
Before the screening began, live music filled the air, with a saxophone creating a cozy atmosphere. A highlight of the evening was the participation of director Mykhailo Ilienko, who shared fascinating stories about the making of the film.
The event brought together veterans, their families, friends, and caring citizens of Kyiv. The organizers emphasize that such events not only create opportunities for communal relaxation but also support those who have experienced war.
