During his visit to Denmark, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded 11-year-old volunteer Jens Fogh Thomsen.
As reported by "European Truth," Zelensky shared this on social media platform X.
Thomsen became the first foreigner to receive the "Future of Ukraine" award.
"Since last year, he has been crafting Easter decorations and through their sales, he raised over 34,000 Danish crowns to buy school backpacks and supplies for Ukrainian children affected by the war," the president noted.
The President's Office specified that Jens began helping Ukraine in 2024 after he saw news about Ukrainian children who lost their homes due to Russian aggression.
Since then, he has been making Easter decorations in the form of blue and yellow beaded chicks.
At the end of May, Zelensky awarded the "Future of Ukraine" recognition to 24 children.
