A performance titled «Come Back Alive» was held at Castle Square in Warsaw to support over 70,000 Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who are still in Russian captivity or missing.

The event was organized by the public initiative «EuroMaidan-Warsaw» in collaboration with the charity foundation «Heart in Action» and the project «Voices of the Captives», which supports families of Ukrainian prisoners and shares their stories with the world.

The performance involved placing empty chairs to symbolize the captives, along with posters featuring photos, names, stories, and QR codes so that everyone could see and read the true accounts of the captives' lives.

"Silence is part of the torture. If we remain silent here, we allow that darkness to continue there. We must speak for those who are tortured, humiliated, and who simply want to survive and return home. As long as they are there, we must be their voice," said Emma Zahynaiko, an organizer and volunteer of EuroMaidan-Warsaw, during the event.

Throughout the event, attendees were able to write letters to Ukrainian soldiers who had been through captivity and had returned home. The organizers stated that each letter would be delivered to its intended recipients.
