In a speech for Constitution Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the significance of unity and patriotism, asserting that Ukraine is a top priority for all citizens. During the celebrations at St. Sophia Square, he awarded several state honors.

At St. Sophia Square, the president presented honorary awards.
In particular, the "Golden Star" order was awarded to the families of fallen Heroes of Ukraine. Posthumously honored were soldier Ostap Makarov, Colonel Viktor Polyvianyi, Senior Lieutenant Mykola Skidan, and journalist and volunteer Iryna Tsybukh.
Additionally, two Heroes of Ukraine received their awards: Junior Lieutenant Petro Gerasymovych and Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Ivantsov.
