A high fire hazard alert has been declared in various regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Transcarpathian areas, from April 29 to May 1.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, there will be an elevated risk of forest and field fires during this period. The most dangerous conditions are expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of the northern regions.
The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard entails a complete ban on open flame in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to follow fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and avoid leaving extinguished fires in nature.
