For over a day, rescue teams have been working tirelessly to clear the debris following a severe missile strike on Kyiv.
In addition to saving people, they have also rescued pets, including fluffy cats and even a small hedgehog.
Images of the rescued animals were shared by the State Emergency Service.
They also released touching moments of reunions between the pets and their owners.
"Every life is precious! These two frightened furballs waited over 20 hours for help beneath the rubble! They were found in a place where it seemed all life had been extinguished…
The emotions of the owner of one of the cats are beyond words. Tears of joy flow as her grey fluffy friend, a part of the family, is alive! And this morning, rescuers discovered a little prickly nose – a hedgehog – under the debris," the rescuers shared.
