The Republic of Korea will allocate $4.76 million to support the digital transformation of the Ukrainian government. The agreement was signed on April 14 in Kyiv by representatives of UNDP and KOICA.

The funds will be used for a three-year project lasting until 2027. Its main goal is to make government operations more efficient and user-friendly for civil servants. The initiative will be implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, UNDP, and the Cabinet Secretariat.

“Our aim is to simplify interactions with the state for citizens and service providers. We thank the Republic of Korea for supporting this initiative that will enhance the effectiveness of the public sector,” stated Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister.

The project will focus on two key areas:

  • Modernization of digital tools for project management in ministries and the creation of electronic services for civil servants.
  • Training civil servants in digital skills to effectively use new systems.

One element of the project will be the introduction of a special service called Diia.Office for civil servants, aimed at streamlining administrative processes and improving interagency interactions.
