Technical discussions between Ukrainian and American teams regarding the mineral agreement will commence on Friday, April 11.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna during a press conference in Brussels, as reported by "European Truth".

Stefanishyna mentioned that consultations regarding the agreement with the US will take place in Washington, involving teams from the Ministries of Justice and Economy of Ukraine.

When asked by journalists about the details of these consultations, she stated that she cannot comment at this time.

"I am unable to discuss any specifics as the meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, but I will be able to comment afterward," said Stefanishyna.

Moreover, she emphasized that no aspect of the agreement may be negotiated in a way that undermines Ukraine's existing commitments, including financial obligations under the European macro-financial assistance program from the IMF.

"This is not subject to any negotiation format, meaning that necessary adjustments must be made to the agreement format later," she added.

It is known that following negotiations in Jeddah on March 11, the presidents of the US and Ukraine reached an agreement regarding the development of critical mineral resources in Ukraine.

Stefanishyna later stated that the framework agreement with the US concerning mineral resources is finalized, and Ukraine is ready to sign it at any time.

On March 24, Trump announced that the agreement on rare earth metals with Ukraine would be signed "soon," while President Zelensky mentioned that the United States offered Ukraine a new version of the mining agreement, which would immediately require ratification in parliament beyond the initial framework agreement.
