The teams at Ukrainian Railways, along with partners and leading experts, are continuously working on the restoration of online services.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian Railways.
"A backup infrastructure has been established in a secure environment, all components are ready for a swift restart from backups of critical systems, and thorough diagnostics of backups and identification of potentially harmful elements are underway. Complex connections between various systems are being restored," the report states.
Ukrainian Railways noted that ticket offices at all stations continue to operate under enhanced schedules. For instance, in Kyiv on March 24, 18 ticket offices were opened instead of the usual 8. All trains continue to run on schedule.
Reminder:
The online systems of Ukrainian Railways on Sunday, March 23 suffered a large-scale targeted cyberattack: the restoration of all systems lasted the entire previous day and is still ongoing.
The key ticket sales system of Ukrainian Railways, which all ticket offices rely on, withstood the attack and remained operational.
