For over a year now, an innovative project has been underway to assist combat veterans and individuals with disabilities, enabling them to gain new professional skills and adapt to civilian life. The Kyiv City Employment Center invites residents in these categories to take advantage of this opportunity.
Training and skill enhancement are conducted by vocational training centers of the State Employment Service. The program offers a wide range of options—from basic vocational training to advanced skill improvement. Participants can choose from 97 trades or enhance their qualifications through approximately 400 educational programs. The learning process is tailored to various needs: options include in-person classes (during the day or evening), online learning, or dual education formats. If necessary, these formats can be combined for the maximum convenience of the participants.
Among the most popular training directions are professions such as cook, cashier, salesperson, tailor, seamstress, electric gas welder, locksmith, electrical installer, driver, and CNC machine operator.
To participate in the program, applicants need to prepare a basic set of documents: identification, educational certificates (if available), tax ID number, and the certificate of combat veteran or individual with a disability due to the war. Individuals with disabilities must also provide a MSEC certificate and an individual rehabilitation program.
Applications can be submitted online via the website of the State Employment Service or directly at any employment center.
