The first state hackathon, Diia.AIContest, awarded winners grants to enhance AI tools within the «Diia» application. The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported on the event's outcomes.
Over three weeks, participants developed innovative products, with 270 applications submitted and 10 teams reaching the finals with top prototypes. According to Danilo Tsyvok, head of AI solutions development at the Ministry, these solutions may become valuable services for citizens within «Diia».
Winners received a total of $8,000 in grants and the opportunity to integrate their technologies into «Diia».
First place went to developers of an AI translator that simplifies the translation and notarization process for documents through «Diia».
Second place was awarded to a team that created a service for recording parking violations using photos and geolocation.
In third place, developers presented an AI document builder that enables citizens to quickly create legally sound contracts without unnecessary costs.
It is noted that the Ministry of Digital Transformation and NVIDIA are collaborating on establishing a national AI infrastructure.
