President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, highlighting the serious challenges Ukraine faces that could threaten its international standing. He emphasized the need for constructive dialogue with key partners.

«We are living through one of the most difficult times in our nation's history. The pressure on us is increasing, and we may face a tough choice: lose our dignity or a vital ally. This situation requires all of us to be focused and determined,» Zelensky stated.

The President also called for collaborative work with international partners without unnecessary emotions.

«I aim to present compelling arguments and alternatives, but we cannot allow the enemy to claim that Ukraine is not interested in peace. That is unacceptable,» he emphasized.

Zelensky reached out to all Ukrainians, urging unity in these challenging times.

«It is crucial for all of us to come together, stop political games, and work collaboratively. The parliament and government must act in unison. Let us not forget who our true enemy is,» he said.

Recalling the early days of the war, Zelensky noted that many called for capitulation back then, but that did not occur, and it will not happen now.

«I believe that in this truly difficult moment, I am not alone. Ukrainians believe in their state. With the support of the people, it will be easier for me to achieve a just peace in negotiations with partners,» he concluded.

The President also announced that the upcoming week would be filled with significant events, during which Ukraine will actively work on the diplomatic front.
