The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been reconnected to the repaired power line following a four-day disconnection. This was reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency on social media platform X.
"According to IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, the Zaporizhzhia NPP is once again connected to the repaired 750-kilovolt 'Dnipro' line after a four-day emergency shutdown," the statement reads.
It is noted that the NPP now has two external power lines available to ensure critical nuclear safety functions.
Recall that on November 14, the Zaporizhzhia NPP lost power from one of its two external transmission lines - 750 kV ZNPP - Dnipro, which is essential for powering the temporarily occupied plant.
