Drivers in Ukraine will soon be able to manage their license plates online — without having to visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This decision has received approval from the government.

The new service will allow drivers to keep their license plates in the "Diia" app after re-registering their vehicles or changing their technical passports and link them to a new vehicle. Previously, this required a trip to a service center where the plates were stored. Now, they will be kept at home in a digital format.

Additionally, the app will offer:

• viewing saved license plates;
• changing the storage method and extending their validity;
• booking numbers and selecting preferred combinations from their "reserve" for a new car.

The launch of these new functionalities for drivers in "Diia" is expected soon.
