«Лінія вогню/Firing Line» tells the inspiring story of those who save lives in the most challenging circumstances. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
The first poster of the film has already been unveiled. It is a story about kindness and courage that can overcome fear and destruction.
Documentary filmmaker Olga Hibelinda highlights the work of first responders who are the first to arrive at disaster sites: they enter burning buildings, clear rubble after shelling, and rescue people from perilous situations. Their bravery serves as a beacon of hope for many and a reminder that even in the darkest times, life can go on.
The film is being produced with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and SESU, in collaboration with Lithuania (FILM JAM, Stasys Baltakis) and Sweden (Common Ground, Jonas Kellagher)!
Andriy Danyk, Head of SESU, noted that each responder demonstrates remarkable courage, resilience, and professionalism under life-threatening conditions. «Unfortunately, today Russians cynically target SESU units that are rescuing people after massive shelling,» he emphasized.
Currently, the team is completing the shooting of the main material for the film and moving on to the full-length editing, color correction, and sound design.
