Kyiv's UNIT.City has claimed its first international award, winning the ASLA Professional Awards 2025. This remarkable achievement highlights the uniqueness of Ukrainian architecture on the global stage.
According to a post on UNIT.City's official Facebook page, this is the first time in Ukraine's history that such a prestigious accolade has been received.
“Our public spaces, designed in collaboration with the talented Kotsiuba Landscape Architecture Studio, have been recognized alongside projects from Google, Meta, and the iconic High Line park in New York City. This significant recognition demonstrates that Ukrainian architecture is setting new standards in the world, and the UNIT.City project will be archived in the Library of Congress as an example of 21st-century landscape architecture,” stated representatives of UNIT.City.
UNIT.City is an innovative space developed from an industrial area, fostering environments for work, education, and leisure.
