The International Monetary Fund team has arrived in the capital of Ukraine to hold important discussions with government officials.

This was reported on Facebook by Vladislav Rashkovan, the IMF Executive Director for Ukraine.

"We arrived in Kyiv in the evening and spent some time in a bomb shelter this morning. We are ready to work. Many meetings are scheduled," Rashkovan stated.

He also mentioned that the IMF team will be working in Kyiv for the upcoming week.

"I look forward to meeting in the city over the next 7-8 days," he emphasized.
