On September 1, the new AI agent Diya.AI went live in Ukraine.

This announcement was made by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

He highlighted that Ukraine is the first country in the world to offer government services through AI.

"Today we launched Diya.AI on the Diya platform. This is the world's first government AI agent that not only answers questions but also provides services directly in the chat. Soon it will also be available in the mobile app," Fedorov wrote on Telegram.

According to him, Diya.AI can:

1. Provide services

In the chat, you can obtain the first service – an income certificate. Just type: "I need an income certificate" – and it will appear in your account on the Diya portal. Soon, five more services will be available that Diya.AI will provide.

2. Inform about services in "Diya"

How do you open a sole proprietorship? What is the Baby Package? Now there is no need to google or search for this information on the portal – just ask Diya.AI.

3. Tailor services to your situation

For example, if your house has been damaged, it will instantly provide information about eRestoration and instruct how to receive compensation from the government.

"Currently, Diya.AI is operating in open beta testing. We will continue to train it to respond to requests even faster and better. For this, we need your feedback – so test it out and give likes, dislikes, and comments right in the chat," Fedorov informs.

He emphasized that Ukraine's mission is to be among the top three countries in the world in AI development and integration into the public sector by 2030.
