War veteran Roman Kashpur from Vinnytsia continues to amaze with his new achievements.

This was reported by Natalia Zabolotna, the first deputy head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, on her Telegram channel.

«Roman Kashpur has set a record for the fastest marathon distance on a prosthesis! His time at the Berlin Marathon is 3 hours 55 minutes and 02 seconds», - Zabolotna wrote.

She also added that Roman became the first Ukrainian para-athlete to successfully complete all of the TOP-6 prestigious world marathons on a prosthesis.

«He has run 7 marathons in London, Washington, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Chicago, and Boston. Four thousand kilometers on a prosthesis in just two years! At international marathons, Roman has surpassed the existing Ukrainian record four times. And finally, the award has found its hero!» - the head of the region noted.

She emphasized that Roman Kashpur is an example of incredible determination and resilience, and his achievements make all Ukrainians proud.

Zabolotna wished the veteran to always maintain this passion for life and thanked the coaches for their preparation and support.

Additionally, the first national amputee football championship has started in Kyiv, showcasing the development of adaptive sports and the social reintegration of veterans and amputees.
