More than 170 manufacturers of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine have been granted access to the closed database of the Ministry of Defense, allowing them to search for components in the "Components Library". This was announced by the defense ministry.
The Ministry of Defense noted that this service operates as a secure digital platform for products from verified Ukrainian component manufacturers. Currently, over 130 components produced in Ukraine are available.
According to the Ministry of Defense, manufacturers in the "Components Library" can find the necessary components for drones, electronic warfare, and other products. At the same time, manufacturers can post their offers and receive orders.
How the service works:
- Authorization through "Diia" and verification by a moderator. Manufacturers gain access to the system only after being accredited as a "User" or "Supplier", or both simultaneously;
- Listing products according to predefined categories and specifications developed in collaboration with manufacturers;
- Secure exchange of contact information – only through a moderator, preventing unauthorized collection of sensitive data.
Direct interaction between seller and buyer, as well as commercial transactions and payments, occur outside the platform. Authorization in the "Components Library" can be done through the website.
As of the end of May, 156 users had been accredited on the platform, and 97 components had been listed in various categories.
The launch of the "Components Library" was announced in early April 2025. This digital platform allows manufacturers of weapons and components to find each other, establish partnerships, and expand local production.
