The Institute of Political, Legal, and Religious Studies has announced the winners of the National Literary and Artistic Prize «Kyiv Book of the Year» for 2025.
This award, founded by the initiative of the Institute's President Alexander Gerasimenko, is awarded annually before Ukraine's Independence Day. Its primary goal is to support Ukrainian authors, publishers, and members of the creative community who have made significant contributions to promoting Ukrainian literature, developing literary criticism, and establishing high artistic standards.
The decision on the winners was made by the Expert Council of the Institute, and their names have been published on the website.
The «Kyiv Book of the Year» award continues to play a crucial role in shaping the country's cultural landscape, supporting authors who strengthen Ukrainian identity through words and creativity.
The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the European Cultural Assembly, the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, and the Kyiv City State Administration.
Interestingly, Ukrainian youth spent over 90 million hryvnias under the eBook program.
