A total of 124 individuals, including those with disabilities and elderly residents, have been evacuated from Donetsk to Kyiv region. They are receiving medical assistance and appropriate care.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Community Development, Kyiv region continues to accept the most vulnerable residents from frontline areas. This was reported by Mykola Kalashnyk, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
According to him, evacuated groups have arrived in Kyiv region three times. Initially, 20 people were transported, then another 52, and on Independence Day, a large group of 52 more individuals was brought in. In total, 124 people with disabilities and elderly residents have been settled in the region.
They are all located in care facilities that provide housing, medical assistance, and support. Some of the injured civilians were immediately sent to hospitals.
As noted by the head of the RVA, there is still much work ahead, as evacuees have lost their homes and require long-term support.
