In the Poltava region, an incident occurred where a technical failure in the warning system led to a false announcement of a radiation threat instead of an air alert.

This was reported by the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kogut, via Telegram.

“Today, during an air alert due to new attacks by enemy drones, a malfunction occurred in the warning system, and instead of an air alert, a radiation threat was mistakenly announced,” Kogut emphasized.

Since August 1, a differentiated air alert system has been implemented in Poltava.
