Ukrzaliznytsia has taken action against 271 users who were abusing the app by making mass ticket purchases.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

These account holders attempted to misuse the company's app, intended for individual ticket purchases, for various purposes:

• created multiple associated accounts to buy small amounts of tickets to bypass restrictions;
• attempted to hold tickets without proceeding to payment (apparently waiting for an 'order');
• purchased many tickets under different names and engaged in other actions detected by the anti-fraud system.

“In analogy with financial institutions, Ukrzaliznytsia has enhanced customer identification and rolled out a monitoring system for unusual user activities while using our online services,” the statement said.
