In August, Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing an extra connection between Kyiv and Odesa with the launch of train number 265/266. This train will operate from August 20 to 31, excluding weekends, providing residents of the capital with more opportunities to visit the seaside.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the train will depart from Kyiv on August 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 at 8:40 AM, arriving in Odesa at 6:08 PM. The travel time is 9 hours and 28 minutes, which is standard for this route.
From Odesa, the train will leave on the same days at 11:27 AM and will reach Kyiv at 8:20 PM. The schedule is designed to allow passengers to plan their trips conveniently.
"We are excited to announce additional seats to Odesa in August! We are launching train number 265/266," said representatives from Ukrzaliznytsia.
The train will consist of compartment cars with seating arrangements, ensuring a comfortable journey. This format is ideal for passengers who prefer daytime travel and do not require sleeping accommodations.
Tickets can be purchased via the Ukrzaliznytsia app, on the official website, or at the train station ticket offices. It is advisable to book tickets in advance, as demand for trips to Odesa is traditionally high during the summer.
