Following the devastating Russian airstrike that obliterated the central bus station in Zaporizhzhia, local authorities are planning to establish temporary ticket offices and service points for passengers to resume bus operations from the traditional location.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, during a broadcast.
«Zaporizhzhia no longer has a central bus station. This station used to serve areas currently under occupation, as well as providing routes to Dnipro, Kyiv, and other regions. We are going to set up a functioning bus station at this location. We will create a mobile ticket office and a mobile passenger service point to ensure operations resume from here», - said the regional leader.
According to him, the main building of the station has been destroyed, but the platform remains operational.
