August 1 has been declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv following Russian shelling.
This was confirmed by the Kyiv City State Administration.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated: "Tomorrow, August 1, is a Day of Mourning in Kyiv to honor the victims of the enemy's massive attack on our capital".
On this day, flags will be lowered on all municipal buildings throughout the city.
It is also advised to lower national flags at both state and private buildings.
All entertainment events are prohibited in the city on August 1.
